"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It's hilarious to me that isolating behaviors I used to have to work consciously to counter are now self-care best practices that I can brag about in therapy!

Also, that multi-thousand comic book collection that takes up a wall in my loft has gone from excessive clutter to a handy stockpile of entertainment media AND an organizing home improvement project to while away the time.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Gudanov, has any mentioned lately that you are a wonder of coding and other stuff that is far beyond my comprehension that I don't even know what to call it?

It's especially lovely to see how it has brought back people who can only access it on their mobile during the day. Thanks, Gud.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

That is a badass name.

It's especially lovely to see how it has brought back people who can only access it on their mobile during the day. Thanks, Gud.

Seconded.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Had my annual physical today. Everything seems within reasonable parameters(cholesterol on high end of normal, HDL low, blood pressure a little low). Plus I think I'm down a few pounds since last year. I suspected I had lost weight by the way my clothes were fitting, though I couldn't tell you how, since I've been eating like normal.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Side gig is working a pick-line for Zingerman’s Mail Order. It’s a local family of businesses and they pay their employees really well - even their holiday help. It goes until 12/22. It’s gonna pay for my movers because me and my friends are too damn old to haul shit in and out of trucks and apartments and houses.

But!! New place!! Hopefully final place!! Here’s the listing from five years ago.

Em will become a basement dweller and the second bedroom will be my office/classroom.

Made a really good and really easy mushroom risotto for dinner -- as in, rice cooked in the oven, and only stirred it for about three minutes at the end. Rich and delicious. I feel accomplished. OK, trying the link again. Think I screwed it up: [link]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So excited about your place, Aimee!

Mmmm, forbidden risotto.

I love the stone front porch, Aims.

How exciting Aimee! I like the yard!

Dog is being barky and whiny again tonight, even though we went to the dog park for almost an hour. So annoyed.
