Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Fever of 106 is GET YOUR ASS INTO AN ER AND LET YOUR WORTHLESS SHREW OF A WIFE DEAL WITH IT time, Gud.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh Gud, honey, don't do this to yourself.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

...just under 106 on Friday...between 100-104 today

Yikes.

Rest. Fluids. You know the drill.

I'm not feeling 100% there mentally.

I had a fever one night early last April (common side effect of a treatment I had just received to prevent bone density loss) that briefly hit 100° F and I could barely get from my bed to the bathroom. And you're trying to fix a laptop? Wow.

And I emphatically second all that Theodosia posted just above.

Thrive to spite them

Gud you are SICK! SHE should be taking you to the hospital and taking care of you.

A fever of 106??!!! Please please please go to the hospital. Olease please please at least call this number 1-800-799-7233

You have to get out of this situation before your wife's abuse kills you. You are loved, we love you. We want you to be around because you are awesome.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh yeah, another effect of high fever can be seizures. Please consult with a real medical person, at least.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You have to get out of this situation before your wife's abuse kills you.

askye is right. This is killing you--if not physically, it is doing profound harm to you, and we don't want to see you hurt.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

What if she's right and I am just a jerk

The behavior you are describing from her is objectively awful. Someone is being the jerk here, but *it is not you.*

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

What everyone said, Gud.

Meanwhile today was a shitshow with Mr. S. He ended up in timeout several times today, and when Gary went to get him out of his room he found Mr. S had taken a bunch of stuff of Gary's(and broke some of it). Later on we found that Mr. S had opened a package of Nova's medicated treats, took all of them out of the blister packs and gave them to Nova.(There are 30 in a package, and she is supposed to get one a day) He claims she ate them all, so I ended up on the phone with animal poison control during dinner.

Luckily, she seems to be fine, and the person at the poison control center said she should be ok, but to watch her for the next few days.

Oy.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The behavior you are describing from her is objectively awful.

This.

Get medical care. And once you are healthy physically, please consider your mental health as well. She is actively harmful from everything you say. And I believe you. I believe that she really is an awful person. That's hard to say and I'm sure it's not fun to read but she is so very abusive and that is not okay.

What is even happening?

Gud, I take it from you saying you don't have either Covid or flu that you've seen a doctor? If not, please do.

106 is out of control, but even 104 is high for an adult. Does your doctor know you still have a fever? They might want to repeat a test.

I'm sorry the situation at home is so rough.
