Oh Gud, I wish you could see just how much you are *not* a jerk. You cannot even rest when you're sick, which is the only thing expected to do when one is sick. This is not being a jerk. This is taking care of yourself, so that you can heal. You deserve rest. You deserve feeling better and being healthy. You deserve not being shout at when you are sick. You deserve people who are taking care of you, sick or not. This is how life should work, not by you taking care of 150% of other people's wants and needs.
Please see a doctor. Please take care of yourself and rest. And please stop listening to your wife. You are loved and appreciated and deserve much better than this.

The only reason I would yell at my husband with a 104 fever would be if he was refusing to go to the doctor or ER. Yes, I would be freaked out. I would also be taking care of him and doing everything I could to help him feel better.
Your wife is abusive, Gud. You are not a jerk. Never in over 30 years of marriage has my husband made me feel like I was a jerk. He is my biggest advocate. Yes, we disagree, and even fight. But never has he treated me as anything less than a treasured partner. It is wrong and you deserve much better.
