Had to skim, but I'm happy your services are in such demand, Gud! And I'm sorry about your bronchitis, Hil.
We have all of the (usually only on at night) lights on, and I think it's gotten darker in the past hour. No smoke smell though, at least in my part of SF. So weird. The sky is such a dark orange, it feels like we're in a cave.
Man, I want to go home but I don't wanna go home to THAT. Sigh.
it's cold here: snow is still falling and it's supposed to get colder...
All the pictures are so scary looking!
Gud, is there a reason you want to leave your current job, or is the new one just a better offer? That's what I'd consider when looking at the counter.
I am worried about all the CAistas and their lungs.
Yeah, it would be nice if the West coast would stop being on fire.
The LeGuin house is GORGEOUS!! It already has an offer in also.
The air quality here is red rather than dark red and yeah I should go put on a respirator. I don't understand why anyone resident of California would balk at wearing a mask for COVID, from what I've seen everyone wears them for smoke

I'm editing an article on how the foods and beverages shown onscreen in the top 250 grossing US movies from 1994 to 2018 match up (or don't match up) with recommended healthy eating guidelines. Unsurprisingly, the food in movies is shit. But I ask you: who the hell is going to tell Harley Quinn that she has to have a fruit cup instead of that glorious breakfast sandwich? The woman owns a hyena.
sigh ... but she didn't even get her glorious breakfast sandwich
