Oh msbelle, I do so hope you get through to him. DH has a lot of success with mentoring kids with far more major issues than Mac or my kids, but they at least have a passion (basketball) that he can work with. When Brendon was younger I could bribe him with Pokemon cards and video games to keep him in line, but by high school he was unbribable. No amount of logic, threat, bribe, or begging would work. Unless they have something they want in life more than being left alone to do nothing it is really hard to motivate. I hope your emails get through to him. I still do that all the time with mine in the hope that at some level it is heard.
Meara! I am so sorry. That is so frustrating. Having to compensate with the wrists for your ankle, and then being down a wrist has to be very difficult. David is right, you need to try and keep it as simple as possible for a bit because your body uses a huge amount of your resources on the healing and doesn't have a lot left over.
Aurelia, and the rest of you with icy slippery stuff, please be careful. We don't want any broken butts!
Zoe gobbled down her dinner last night and breakfast this morning. Still very slow going, but now she is recovering from the abuse at the vet's and on medications. Next is getting an echo done to see what condition her heart is in.
