Our wings are not tired.

I know I feel badly when I can't carry through the consequences because they out wait my energy.

Truth!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yes, so much what Deena said.

I can't even imagine if I was also trying to parent!!

I really want to call my boss and say I need a couple sick days but work is also shitting on me and my annual review is Thursday morning. So I hate to have that breakdown right before the review...

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You're dealing with a major health problem that just got complicated. If they penalize you for that, they're a terrible employer. Not saying they wouldn't, sadly.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ugh, meara. That's a tough spot.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry, meara. How is the wrist doing today?

Feeling more hopeful on Zoe. She is doing better today. Tomorrow at 10AM we get an echocardiogram to see what condition her heart is in, but treatment for heart disease is taking pills the rest of her days, so we can deal with that. Prior to seeing the cardiologist they said not to exercise her, but I hope she will still be able to do mileage because she does love to walk with her parents.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry, meara.

Glad to hear Zoe is eating and doing better!

Argh, people are stupid. Do we have 80 pallets on hand or do we need to order some? If we have to order, how long will it take to get them? These are not hard questions, are they? If I knew where to go look for myself I'm sure that would be easier, but I do not.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Roommate is scheduled for major heart valve replacement surgery on Friday, but just heard that her urine sample may show a major UTI, so she's waiting on more test results to see if they have to reschedule.

This is the one that was rescheduled from July... and then put on hold until she had a minor skin cancer thingie excised from her scalp and healed. This waiting and rescheduling stuff is rough even if you don't have major PTSD and anxiety issues like her.
