I'm sorry, meara. How is the wrist doing today?
Feeling more hopeful on Zoe. She is doing better today. Tomorrow at 10AM we get an echocardiogram to see what condition her heart is in, but treatment for heart disease is taking pills the rest of her days, so we can deal with that. Prior to seeing the cardiologist they said not to exercise her, but I hope she will still be able to do mileage because she does love to walk with her parents.
Glad to hear Zoe is eating and doing better!
Argh, people are stupid. Do we have 80 pallets on hand or do we need to order some? If we have to order, how long will it take to get them? These are not hard questions, are they? If I knew where to go look for myself I'm sure that would be easier, but I do not.
Roommate is scheduled for major heart valve replacement surgery on Friday, but just heard that her urine sample may show a major UTI, so she's waiting on more test results to see if they have to reschedule.
This is the one that was rescheduled from July... and then put on hold until she had a minor skin cancer thingie excised from her scalp and healed. This waiting and rescheduling stuff is rough even if you don't have major PTSD and anxiety issues like her.
Even if you didn't have PTSD and anxiety you would over rescheduling major heart surgery repeatedly!
So ideas to raise/earn an extra 4200 before the end of the year? Ugh
Oh geez, Theo -- fingers crossed for R!
Yikes, msbelle, although it is seasonal job season?
In opposite news, my new computer came! It seems good. I am putting off transferring everything from the old one, because that's going to be a nightmare.
My laptop's dying. I need to do a full backup on it, and tomorrow is booked, so it will have to wait. I hate backups, I'm terrified I'll put a finger wrong and end up down some heretofore unseen rabbit hole. Stupid technology. Why can't we all just think at each other, selectively?
Yeah, the backup is scaring me, too.
Um, that's a lot to earn in a month, msbelle? Good luck?
Thanks for the love, y'all. Got a few things done, sent a few emails, told a few folks I was logging off early and would be back online later. ...it's later and I'm still procrastinating it.
Wrist still hurts a lot today. I have it in a splint, which helps, except it also makes typing on my work laptop a pain, I keep hitting keys I don't mean to. Am icing it a lot. Right now it's way more painful than my ankle!
Oh, and good luck to Zoe tomorrow!
I don't back up my computer nearly as often as I should
