So things have been resolved around my journalism classes — thank you so much for letting me vent last week (was it last week? I'm with Gud in being unsure about time). Venting here prevented me from sending what would have been an unfortunate email. It seems to have come down to a new administrator not really understanding the big picture. She and I talked, and she now gets it and is supporting me to teach normally. Phew.

2 of 3 conference calls done! The first I expected to be not much of anything, and as a call it was not very involved but the thing it was about turns out be a lot ore involved than we originally thought. Alas. One of those things that if we can do it it will probably make everything run smoother but right now it frankly seems kind of impossible. But it is not my job to figure it out, I just have to implement whatever solutions we come up with. The second turned out to be a 5 minute video chat with the new VP which was...fine, I guess? I mean, I'm sure he'll be fine as a VP but I didn't have any questions or concerns to bring him because frankly all I can think about right now is how much bakeware TJ Maxx can have and how soon, so now I figure I look like a flake BUT that probably doesn't matter too much as long as I do my job, so, whatever.
Maybe I can make lunch now...
