I'd have happily gone without a haircut for another year if it meant investing in a way to provide safe childcare and schools.

Agree completely, and I don't even have kids! They can't discuss people going back to work without solving childcare first.

We have early dismissal and I'm actually thinking about bailing on work even earlier because I worked 10 hours yesterday but in any case I am slacking as much as I can.

I believe it's inspired by soft rock/lite rock of the 1980s. Since yacht rock is new to me, I haven't heard any. I need to remedy that, though.
