I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hope Cashmere got successfully tested yesterday

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Did you get results, -t?

I am tempted to book a table at the "nice" restaurant down by the waterfront (scare quotes because the food has never been more than just fine, and their cocktails are THE WORST, but you can't beat the view) because they are one of the only places in town that was set up for outdoor seating pre-pandemic, so it isn't just a bunch of chairs moved out onto the sidewalk.

Oh yeah, I'd do that.

This is the place closest to my house. They have fewer tables now, but the sidewalk is still as narrow!

Yeah, that seems problematic for pedestrians

No results yet, but they said 48-72 hours on Tuesday at 6pm, so hopefully today sometime. I suppose if I am positive I will just get groceries delivered instead of going out anywhere...

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Orange Dickweed and Faux-Religious Dickwad and the whole fucking Cabinet aren't wearing masks. Where are their positive tests? Where is the karmic, viral justice?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I also hope that Cashmere got tested.

I posted this morning my first blog post in three years. It was fun! I've been meaning to get back to blogging for a while now (to improve various written communications skills) and wondered what the hell I can write about next. After a few hours I remembered that I probably have an infinite number of twitter rants that I can now translate into English and into blog posts. It's sometimes fun being a bilingual ranter.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I made a dumb mistake: bought a yogurt at the supermarket that I thought was a dairy substitute (because it was right next to all the soy- and coconut- variations) only to discover that when I'd taken a couple spoonfuls and more closely perused the label that it wasn't.

Guess it is a good thing that I wasn't planning on going much of anywhere tonight and tomorrow, and if I sleep terribly, I can sleep as late as I wanna on a Saturday...

Aw, Theo, I'm sorry. Glad you caught it pretty quickly, hope the effects aren't too bad.

That is a good fucking question, Dana. I know "why do bad things happen to good people" has been wrestled with by deeper thinkers than me, but "why do bad things not happen to bad people" is also a conundrum.

I ordered lunch to be delivered and included a fountain diet coke (I was actually expecting a bottle or can, but whatever) and immediately knocked it over and spilled almost all of it when I went to retrieve it off my porch. Argh.

Given the fact that hydroxychloroquine causes heart problems, coupled with the amount of cholesterol the man shoves into his mouth, I'm amazed he hasn't had a massive coronary at this point.
