Just curious, about how many people wear masks when you are at a store these days? Seems like it's fallen to about 10% in my area.
We wear masks whenever we go anywhere. We take turns going to stores or for curbside pick up. We have cloth masks but I bought a box of disposables just in case to keep in the car--that way, if we forget ours or I don't have time to wash them, we have them.
Stores are hit or miss here. Staff wears masks at grocery stories and restaurants. Some days we have 50-50% mask wearers, some days we have 10-20%. I get really uncomfortable when I see a lot of folks not wearing masks.
Our lawnmower died and we had to go to Lowe's to pick one out. It was crowded and less than half the people were wearing masks. We were in and out in 15 minutes.
I wear a mask at work all day. But not all of us do. About half the people are masking and our director is one that does not.
And we're probably opening to the public in two weeks or so. If the board approves the opening plan.
I'm alone in the office so I don't wear a mask there. I don't wear a mask when I'm home and sometimes take it off when I run down the hall to the trash room. But I do wear a mask to do laundry, since it's a shared space and a number of older people are in the building. I'm kind of high risk, since I'm 68 and have "underlying health conditions" but I'm OK so far.
After that video, I was real disappointed in my local Costco apparently letting 2 different people be in the store without masks. I asked employees if they were aware of the lady in the black tank top without a mask, and they were all "Yeah. Oh. That's a different lady. Yeah."
Way to undermine the work on health and safety branding, folks.
Looks like Laura called it - no launch today.
Yep, scrubbed due to weather. Nuts.
Waiting for the tweet about NASA being wusses from Trump.
Yes, doesn't look so good for Saturday either. I was looking forward to it, so digits crossed that the rainy season takes a break.
I'd be careful about calling people wusses when a change to launch window calculations could see a discarded booster rocket touching down in the West Wing instead of the Pacific Ocean.
Timelies all!
Gary had the NASA feed on his tablet, and was showing Mr. S stuff. Was disappointed with the scrubbing of the mission.(both of them)
Ok y'all am I crazy/overly weird, or somewhat normal, in being annoyed when my roommate puts giant bowls (like mixing bowls) or pots in the dishwasher? I feel like they ought to be washed by hand because they take up so much room that it means you have to run the dishwasher like three times as often/it fills up super fast? And for pots I feel like they may not get super clean in the dishwasher? But maybe I'm a weirdo and everyone else is like "but if it CAN go in the dishwasher why would you hand wash it?"
