Yes, doesn't look so good for Saturday either. I was looking forward to it, so digits crossed that the rainy season takes a break.

I'd be careful about calling people wusses when a change to launch window calculations could see a discarded booster rocket touching down in the West Wing instead of the Pacific Ocean.
Timelies all!
Gary had the NASA feed on his tablet, and was showing Mr. S stuff. Was disappointed with the scrubbing of the mission.(both of them)
Ok y'all am I crazy/overly weird, or somewhat normal, in being annoyed when my roommate puts giant bowls (like mixing bowls) or pots in the dishwasher? I feel like they ought to be washed by hand because they take up so much room that it means you have to run the dishwasher like three times as often/it fills up super fast? And for pots I feel like they may not get super clean in the dishwasher? But maybe I'm a weirdo and everyone else is like "but if it CAN go in the dishwasher why would you hand wash it?"
msbelle - I thought about writing Corporate, but I expect the only real way to change local behavior is to take my business elsewhere and say so. Which I couldn't do today. I'll have to be more careful the next time I need to return something.

Or worse - Mar a Lago
I would think sticking something huge in the dishwasher very often to be wasteful, but if it's just once in a while I'd probably be ok with it? I grew up in a family that was very selective of what could go into the dishwasher and married into a family that if it fits in the dishwasher it's probably dishwasher safe (that's a little bit of an exaggeration but that is how it seemed at times) so I have actively tried to be more relaxed about that. With some success. But for sure would load the small stuff first and wash the big stuff by hand if that was all that was left to wash...
I have so few dishes, I think a dishwasher would be unnecessary. I'm moving into a new apartment in June and it has a dishwasher ... maybe I'll start using it ... or maybe I'll use it to drain handwashed dishes. We'll see.

I wash the cookware and my wooden spoons and knives by hand. Huge bowls too. They block the jets from working properly! Also the silicone stuff because it gets a white film. So yeah, basically just the eating stuff, not the prep stuff.
Pots should basically be hand washed (I have some exceptions I can't describe). Big bowls, it depends on what else is going on. Like, if it's been a week so the top is full of mugs and the plate part is full of plates? Sure.
