Matt, if the bite broke the skin, you need to get yourself checked at the urgent care or ER, if they're taking patients. Cat bites are serious. The infection can blow up quickly. I have a friend who was hospitalized for several days, and came close to using the use of a couple of fingers, had it not been for IV drugs. If you see any signs of infection or if the bite broke skin, get it checked.
We like you with both hands. ETA: That is, we like you having both hands. Not...um.
It happened to me! It was the sickest I have ever been. But it was a lot of bites.
Fourth. I've had to get IV antibiotics a couple of times from infected cat bites and scratches -- occupational hazard of volunteering at an animal shelter.
The merry merry king of the bush?
The merry merry king of suburbia, this one.
Matthew's mom has been telling me that Penny has been chasing ground squirrels and I've been thinking she's never going to catch a squirrel.
Except she meant chipmunk and today one was on the porch and Penny zoomed out and caught it and then wandered around the yard in a confused manner for a few minutes
I hate that she killed the chipmunk but we can't keep her inside all the time becausepp going outside is her relief from being bullied by Scrappy. We will just try to scare off the wildlife hanging in the open part of the yard first.
I'm sure Penny is only catching the ones who deserve to die.
Two of our furloughed workers are coming back to my team! Hooray!
And my friend that was laid off just texted that she is starting a new job. Yay!

Our Kit Kat had a run in with a rabbit this week. She had a bad scratch on her foreleg and one on her back leg. I washed out the wounds and she seemed normal. This is the first time she's ever came back with battle wounds. She should stick to voles.
