I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

And my friend that was laid off just texted that she is starting a new job. Yay!

Now tagless for your comfort.

I hate that she killed the chipmunk but we can't keep her inside all the time becausepp going outside is her relief from being bullied by Scrappy. We will just try to scare off the wildlife hanging in the open part of the yard first.

Our Kit Kat had a run in with a rabbit this week. She had a bad scratch on her foreleg and one on her back leg. I washed out the wounds and she seemed normal. This is the first time she's ever came back with battle wounds. She should stick to voles.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm always reminded of "Cold Comfort Farm" - the water voles will get you!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Hatta tends to take out mourning doves - we found a little cemetery behind the bushes. If I ever see a bluebird I'm going to have to consider grounding her.

No worries Beverly, I habitually carry antibacterial Wet Ones wipes in my pocket and swabbed the punctures out almost as soon as they were made. Then washed my hands well and applied Neosporin once I returned home.

My World Lit professor in college had her forearm swell up like a frankfurter from a cat bite and had to have it lanced, so I've always been aware of how dangerous those can be.

My sister's cat once bit me and the bite ended up infected. I had to go to the emergency room, get IV antibiotics and a prescription for pills to take. It was short-term painful - and kind of scary - but once I was treated, it cleared up quickly.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

There are a whole bunch of helicopters swarming around my neighborhood. It turns out there's a man on top of the Brooklyn Bridge, threatening to jump.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, Tom. How awful.

Looks like they finally got him down. He was up there for well over two hours.
