The hardest thing about having teens exploring their gender identity is trying to not get too involved in the process. Waiting until they ask for advice, being supportive, and open to whatever comes takes a lot of patience. I just want them to be happy, you know. In whatever form that takes.

I feel like that's pretty much true for teens in every context, not just exploring gender identity. It's so hard to be patient and not offer advice until they ask.
That seems like it's a lot of parenting - letting them figuring stuff out and being ready to help without taking over. ~ma for all that, Cashmere
Timelies all!
Kinda quiet around the board today. (I almost said around here, but y'all might think I mean my house, which ha. Not with Max Volume around.)
My crows have been extra loud and demanding of snacks, and the fledglings are starting to appear.
I have now petted all three of the calico kittens while feeding them, though the one with a half mask also delivered a surprisingly strong bite to my hand when I tried to pick her up.
KITTIES
Now with biting. Awwwww
Mt county has apparently been approved to move further into "stage 2" and open "destination retail stores, shopping malls and dine-in restaurants" starting TOMORROW. Wild.
I hope this doesn't mean I can no longer get cocktails to go. I really like that. Not that I have taken that much advantage of it, but I like it in theory.
Matt, if the bite broke the skin, you need to get yourself checked at the urgent care or ER, if they're taking patients. Cat bites are serious. The infection can blow up quickly. I have a friend who was hospitalized for several days, and came close to using the use of a couple of fingers, had it not been for IV drugs. If you see any signs of infection or if the bite broke skin, get it checked.
We like you with both hands. ETA: That is, we like you having both hands. Not...um.
What Beverly Said
It happened to me! It was the sickest I have ever been. But it was a lot of bites.
