We are seeing nationwide the effects of a lack of leadership at the federal level. It seems that responsibility keeps getting passed down one level. Fed to State, State to County, County to City. So our actions are fractured, and departments who are ill equipped to make these health designations and decisions are being tasked with rolling something out on a time line that is not realistic.

Spotify just rolled out an interactive map of people who are listening to the same song simultaneously in distant locations - it's really beautiful: [link]

Without coordinated federal effort, we're screwed. We still need Federal response on supply lines, testing and guidelines. I will never get over that fact that we could have had competent leadership for all this.
I hate them deeply and utterly.
Timelies all!
So Mr. S got frustrated, threw his tablet and cracked the screen. It still works, but it's not pretty. Well, he's stuck with it like that for the foreseeable future.
I don't know if he's old enough or otherwise prepared to get it, but I do hear that natural consequences are the way to go with things like that....
The weekly conference call that was taking 10 minutes back in February just lasted over an hour. I have so much on my to do list still but it is all going to have to wait until tomorrow because if I work any more today I will cry. The end.
ltc is in a mood because TCG had meetings today at lunch and at dinner time. He was home in between, but her schedule is still messed up and she's annoyed. Also mommy doesn't make things as fun as daddy does.
Aw, poor ltc. Getting used to not having the parent you want when you want them is tough!!
Went to the doctor today and he did an ultrasound and said he didn't think I had a tear or anything in my shoulder....but I do have frozen shoulder. Booooo. Also, owwww. So he set me up right then and there to get a cortisone shot in the shoulder to hopefully help the pain (even if it doesn't help the range of motion). Any Buffista experience/advice on this? He basically said there's not much you can do and it lasts 1-3 years(!!!)
