Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

So Mr. S got frustrated, threw his tablet and cracked the screen. It still works, but it's not pretty. Well, he's stuck with it like that for the foreseeable future.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't know if he's old enough or otherwise prepared to get it, but I do hear that natural consequences are the way to go with things like that....

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The weekly conference call that was taking 10 minutes back in February just lasted over an hour. I have so much on my to do list still but it is all going to have to wait until tomorrow because if I work any more today I will cry. The end.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ltc is in a mood because TCG had meetings today at lunch and at dinner time. He was home in between, but her schedule is still messed up and she's annoyed. Also mommy doesn't make things as fun as daddy does.

Aw, poor ltc. Getting used to not having the parent you want when you want them is tough!!

Went to the doctor today and he did an ultrasound and said he didn't think I had a tear or anything in my shoulder....but I do have frozen shoulder. Booooo. Also, owwww. So he set me up right then and there to get a cortisone shot in the shoulder to hopefully help the pain (even if it doesn't help the range of motion). Any Buffista experience/advice on this? He basically said there's not much you can do and it lasts 1-3 years(!!!)

meara - I've had cortisone shots in my hip and they helped quite a bit with the pain, but they only last about 3 months. Or to be more exact, they help really well for about a month and then slowly wear off over the remaining two months.

Good luck. I've never had a frozen shoulder so can't comment on that part.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

No one ever gave me a shot for my frozen shoulder, and the PT got me like 75-80% better?

Our wings are not tired.

Ouch, meara. Other than that I got nothing.

Also mommy doesn't make things as fun as daddy does.

Oh I remember those days well. It was very frustrating for all parties.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I never saw an MD, I went to my chiropractor for my frozen shoulder last year. He did wonders for me. And when ibuprofen wouldn't even touch the pain, I got edibles and a tincture from MedMen (lowest THC I could find) for the pain. Good luck. That MFer was about the worse pain I've ever known.
