Earlier this week I was planning on taking half of today off, but a bunch of stuff came in and I had an anxiety attack about not having something done my big boss asked for - so no. I am on a big zoom that only about 10% pertains to me (not that I have access to track even that part). Then I need to shower and head into the office and try to clear another stack of these $%^$^% things from the nemesis.

We're getting next Friday off to give folks a 4-day weekend, which is nice. A lot of us have unlimited PTO so the hours don't really matter but it's awesome for the hourly folks and good for everyone to get the "permission" to take time. Even if you can't go anywhere.

just try brushing the bread with olive oil and you don't have to deal with actual olives!
I feel like I have more authority than usual, because I have made red beans and artichoke dip this week.
