Gud, if you're out there, please check in. Even if it's just to say hello.
JZ, your role right now is to grieve. Hec's job as an in-law is to keep things going, at least at a basic level. I'd say the two of you are getting it exactly right.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Being productive today would be better. Yesterday I ended up napping for about 3 hours because I was nodding out at my computer.
I sent an email to Gud's profile address. Hope we hear from him soon.
Firefly kitties!! That is awesome.

This! The last two days have been slightly lazy with more browsing than work. I still have not done this one thing the big boss asked of me that requires questioning someone else's work. Must do that today.
Firefly puppies! Aw.
JZ, I'm so glad you have David to support you through this.
Trying to figure out what to do about unemployment. When you file an initial claim in PA, they tell you when to actually file for specific weeks, and my last day to file is today. But I haven't received the PIN number I need in the mail yet, and the number to call is constantly busy. I mean, I'm not surprised, given how many claims are being filed, but I don't know if this means I'm screwed or what. Bah.
They're virus testing all the nursing homes etc today in Cambridge, residents and staff alike. Here's hoping we all pass the test....
Dammit, apparently switching between apps on my phone now means losing my post. Supportive words to all of you!
Test~ma!
JZ, when Mom's mother passed away, she didn't find a secret safe, but she was finding little caches of money the whole time she was going through the house. And it took weeks to go through - Nana had a metric boatload of STUFF in the house. So much so that Mom's been on a keep-tidy kick ever since; she's determined me and my sister won't have to go through that.
Amy, what a P.I.T.A.

Fingers crossed, Theo
The most recent email from my FiL's retirement community says they have no cases of Covid-19, but it didn't say that they were testing the residents, either. So I'm assuming that they don't have any residents showing active symptoms (which is a good thing), but can't verify that with test results.
