Oh, Pacey! You blind idiot. Can't you see she doesn't love you?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Well, obviously - that is cruel!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

When Matilda was ltc's age, Hec and I used to intone solemnly to each other in our best History Channel narrator voices, "Truly, we are history's greatest monsters."

Our wings are not tired.

Good morning, JZ. How are you feeling, how is your dad?

Ann, that's a ferret.

I asked her to get dressed. Trying to maintain some normalcy.

For what it is or isn't worth, I think you were being extremely sensible. I've been getting dressed every day, regardless of whether or not I expect to go outside. Makes me feel more human.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah, every kid I know is about to leave their terrible, terrible parents. Little do they know what they would find in almost any other family. ALSO a request to get dressed! ALSO a not unlimited selection of food to eat! ALSO a bedtime! Parents are clearly the worst.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I have also showered and dressed. It does seem to help, Fred Pete.

I have bookmarked the recipes for dinner tonight and made a vague plan for what we're having this week.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

She must feel really safe and secure to be able to tell you you're the worst. So good job.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

How are you feeling this morning, -t?

Thrive to spite them

I tried to call the unemployment office and got a busy signal until I got through and heard a message the office is closed so I'm giving up on help and just doing the best I can on the forms.

Then I probably scared my neighbors and bothered my boyfriend's mom by walking /dancing /signing around the yard

And I found a pot pie in the microwave. No one remembers putting it there and I swear I used the microwave the other day. I vaguely remember cooking one a few days ago but I'm pretty sure I ate and I've used the microwave since then.

Sj as hard as it is to hear from ltc I think she definitely feels safe to say that. I know I said some really horrible things to mom that I never said to Dad. I knew it was safe to say it to Mom but was never sure of dad would still be ok with me if I said those things.

Thanks, we're over it. It's just a lot first thing in the morning.

I just updated my instacart order which is being delivered today after going through everything we have. It's a ridiculously pricey order, but I have to remind myself that we're not spending any money going out or grabbing treats after school. Also, I figure at least a few items will be out of stock.
