I just updated my instacart order which is being delivered today after going through everything we have.
My neighbors went out and did $100 worth of shopping for me yesterday. I paid them, but that's a lot of shopping for somebody else. Most appreciative.
Deb brought us stuff right after we were quarantined.
And Juliana sent over stuff including an all-important bottle of gin.
And Davi's mom did a quick run for us.
And now our across the hall neighbors.
It's easy to get misanthropic, but...humans can be pretty amazing too.
sj, I once made a coworker a "mean mommy of the year" award and used gold paint to highlight portions. She took it home and shared it proudly with her kids.
Better, thanks! As long as I stick to 30ml every 6 hours I'm almost normal. Just sleepy and paying way too much attention to whether I can feel my lungs.
askye - why would you being outside walking/dancing/singing bother his mom? I thought she liked noise all the time and generally has no consideration for anyone else.
sj - getting dressed means COSTUMES.
Because the singing was really really off key. I am sure it annoyed the neighbors. In fact considering how much that neighbor has complained in the past I'm surprised he hasn't sent a paper airplane note over the fence asking me to cut it out. I had earbuds on so it's just me singing loudly off key with no music.
Husband's third interview is Wednesday or Thursday. Which feels about thirteen years away.
That does feel impossibly far in the future, Dana. Job~ma continuing!
You are allowed to sing off-key, askye. That is not a legitimate thing for anyone to complain about right now. If anyone is complaining, it sounds like you are guessing that they would like to complain -if that's the case, don't worry about it.
Weird specific question- this sounds weird as a sentence, right? Upon completion of this module the nurse will describe de-escalation techniques for use in situations of extreme conditions.
Sorry to pop in- working like crazy on this RN refresher course.
Also, this morning I talked to my student who is in Brooklyn. She says it is BAD in NYC. Her mom and elderly grandma are in the hospital. They didn't admit her grandma until her fever reached 105 degrees. They can go to the lobby and bring their family members hot food which hospital workers will take up to them. And she saw
a plastic sheet blow back on a hallway that was full of dead bodies
while she was waiting. Her mom is also a nurse, so still going to work.

I think that "situations of" could be removed (so it would be "...for use in extreme conditions"). Or it could be changed to "...for use in extreme situations."
sophia, I'm so sorry your student had to see that. I'm so sorry this is our reality
