I'm tryign to fill out the unemployment claim and I have questions. I did call the UI office and get on the list to be called back but my basic questions are this: since I transferred from one store that was in NC to a store that was in SC do I need to put my end of employment date for the last date I was at the NC store.
I don't know what to do and I don't want to mess this up but I want to get this filed as quickly as possible.
Digits crossed and ~ma sent.
Still on the phone, 45 minutes in.
And I'm watching clips of a husky who's high on anesthesia:

oh dear ... we're having weekly staff teleconference meetings and today one person took the entire call with his dog on his lap ... seemingly the dog will bark up a storm if he's not included
I'm having a little guilt about toilet paper, because I went grocery shopping this morning and the Meijer we shop at hasn't had TP on its shelves for like 2 weeks now, so I went to Target specifically for TP. We haven't been hoarding TP -- 2 of us don't go through a ton of it -- but Target only had the giant 18-roll packs, so that's what I bought, because we needed some TP. If they'd had a 6-roll pack, that's what I would have gotten. But I guess we're just set for the next month or so, which is nice.
Trader Joe's had a line outside for the shoppers, because they were only allowing a limited number of customers in the store at one time. It felt like waiting in line to get in to a bar! It was delightful to shop in an uncrowded TJs, though.
Phone call went well from Husband's POV, so I guess we'll see.
What area of Florida, Dana? (yes I want to know for purely selfish reasons)
Atlantic coast, southeast of Orlando.
I hope Hec and Matilda are still well.
We're fine. No symptoms.
After a week of lumping about on the couch, Matilda erupted into a frenzy of productivity over the last couple days: doing art, cooking projects, working out to YouTube videos, cleaning the living room and doing her (now optional) homework unprompted.
I'm getting a little burned out on 3x3 meals a day, plus coffee and snacks and doing a full sink of dishes twice a day. Bah.
