One office of 4 people called to say that 3 of them could WFH, but one had no internet or personal computer. Umm, then she can work alone in the office! Call me lazy, but I don't want to set up a user for WFH who is so not into tech that they don't even have internet.
Our IT dept had to deal with this. The artistic director's long-time admin has no home computer or internet. They blew her mind when they were explaining mobile hot spots.
I already gave Teppy a new popstar name: Pinky Lang McPoshpink.
It's a mouthful, but I wear it well.
For everyone dealing with parents and COVID restrictions. [link]
I am "hosting" a zoom session for a class right now. It is surprisingly similar to stage managing, except the whole audience can hear you try to trouble shoot as there seems like no way to talk with just the instructor and myself. I am also learning about symptoms of Multiple sclerosis and now I think I have MS.
I think we've reached the "I have to laugh about it or I'd cry (without stopping)" stage.
OMG, one of the weird symptoms is something I have- regular low body tempureature!
Sophia, beware medical student's disease: [link]
LOL. Now I have Myasthenia Gravis!
I am so pissed at Matthew and his mom right now and I can't say anything. They have been ...self medicating more with pot and it's been keeping the peace so whatever. But now there is someone in the house, sitting on our couch less than a foot away from Matthew . And this person has said "if I get it and live then I live and if I get it and die then I die, this is just the natural order". and they are sharing a bong and smoking after each other. All I want to do is Lysol the damn couch. or never sit on it again and make them all take showers and not touch Matthew for 14 days.
Oh askye, the bong sharing is ridiculous.
I know you may have just been venting, but I would Lysol the couch AND would not touch Matthew for 14 days. We haven't been mixing households for over a week (so no visiting friends; that's why God made Al Gore invented the internet).
That's just not fair to you.
The bakery we go to is closing. I was hoping they were still considered essential because we have to interact with less people to get bread there, and it is better bread.
The MA list is pretty deep and wide (lots of essential businesses). Charlie's letting restaurants keep providing take-out. Do you know if this was a decision made at the city level?
