"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

JZ, when do you expect to get the results?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

ND, I'm so so sorry. All I can say is what I told my niece: it isn't all gone; the reputation you've built and the connections you've made will last, and when it's time to bring the business back you won't be starting from scratch; the foundation is already there. Your community is strong and so are you.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, ND, I'm so sorry.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

sj- it is really just me and my cat- I have no ltc to entertain or worry about. My mom is feeling better and isn't leaving her house, so that is good.

Also, my hospital is actually considering the sewing thing, so I threw my two cents in. It seems more than likely the effort will actually be coordinated by a tailoring outfit in Rochester that had to shut down, but can have people work from home, but that is a good thing. Basically they will switch to producing masks with people who can sew from home.

My nursing friends tell me they have to "preserve" the masks they have and it is one per shift right now, but could become less than that.

Thrive to spite them

Well crap. Matthew's brother sent around some screenshot from somewhere warning that any minute now we are going to be under 2 week lock down, marshal law is going to be invoked and the National Guard is going to be deployed to fend off rioters and looters. I don't know why he sent this to his mother who has paranoia to begin with but now she's upset and worried if we have enough food but thankfully hasn't brought up the issue of a gun again.

Why in God's name would you send that to your mother who has schizoaffective disorder ?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, ND.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Katie Bee, you have to be the most composed human on the planet right now.

ND, I know you treat your employees like family so I understand how hard this was for you. I am hoping with all my might that you and K come out of this okay. I really hope that there is some small business relief for you and your employees.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Oh, Matilda. I'm so sorry you didn't get in, but I'm so glad you have Emmett.

Katerina Bee, holy hell. Way to keep calm in the face of ridiculousness.

JZ, sending you all the negative ~ma I've got.

Drew, I'm so very sorry. I hope that a small business package is included in whatever relief Congress passes.

Our wings are not tired.

Matthew's brother sent around some screenshot from somewhere warning

Between the people posting fake cures and the dire warning I just want to scream. There are plenty of sources for real information. Exploitative idiots.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm so sorry, Drew.
