Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nilly, I'm so glad your quarantine is almost over -- really almost over, now! Give your kids the biggest hug.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I went to the protest. Police ordered us to leave even though it followed the orders of Ministry of Health (people kept distance).

I can handle the plague. It's inconvenient and scary but if we will all work together and stay home it will pass. What I'm having trouble to process is the plague + government that shuts down its parliament and courts, puts all of its citizens on surveillance mechanism used to counter terrorism, and forbids protests. It's scary.

Our wings are not tired.

once the quarantine if over (in 12.5 hours!)

Woo! Enjoy the hugs of freedom!

One of my customers emailed me that she wanted me to come to her office to chat with QuickBooks tech support because QB was WFH and on chat instead of phones. NO! I told her I would connect to her workstation and chat with them on her computer remotely if she wanted. Most of my doctors have told me they didn't want to see me and are trying to see patients remotely if possible.

DIL and I will get our nails done by SIL as usual, but probably at her house or mine. I think she is going to have to close the shop.

Nilly, that must be so difficult! Enjoy your hugs!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Nilly, enjoy life post-quarantine!

I confess, my self-quarantine or self-isolation or whatever you want to call it is imperfect. I'm going to keep my pedicure appointment tomorrow if the nail place is still open -- as of Tuesday, they're now closed 4 days a week. In my condition, it's very difficult to cut my own toenails, and one last pedicure will (I hope) keep those nails under reasonable control for several months. I plan to distance as much as possible and hope for the best.

Medical appointments are going on as normal. I saw my therapist on Tuesday. This is an infusion week, and the infusions are going on as normal. (Silver lining -- As part of the infusion process, the nurse has to check my vital signs regularly. So I KNOW I wasn't running a fever as of yesterday morning.) I have weekly physical therapy, and I have to have my ankle braces checked next week. I also plan to keep going to the animal shelter as long as it stays open to volunteers. Support groups are canceled as long as schools are closed.

I'm used to eating out quite a bit. I'm switching to take out, and I'm going to focus more on locally owned independent restaurants.

My apartment looks out on a dog walking area. So I have a view of greenery and can even get out while practicing social distancing. I went out yesterday without my cane, which was a bigger deal than it probably sounds. I even practiced standing still without the cane, which was very much a big deal.

Dating is off the table for now. At least, dating in person. There's always texting.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We had to go pick up meds at CVS, but everyone was keeping their distance. Other than that, we have not left the house except to walk the dogs.

I know there is not much chance of it, but I wish TCG was staying home with us. I like spending time with my hubby.

Fred, it is good to hear your mobility is improving. Of course you need to keep up with the physical therapy. DH will go to his sister's salon (or her home) for his pedicure because he can't clip his toenails either. (Not my job)

I live on a park and individual people are still out on their walks, or walking their animals. If people aren't sick I hope we can continue to go outside. I get that they closed the beaches, but that hurts because my time at the beach always involves social distancing! Not so much with the Spring Breakers.

Is WFH not an option for him? I know it is super difficult to get work done with a youngster, but it would certainly help everyone's anxiety level.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

He would probably not get much done here with ltc, and he doesn't at the moment have home access to work resources. Also, people are still being allowed to drop things off like building plans etc, even if they're not allowed in the building. He only works with a couple other people, and they're keeping their distance from each other and cleaning a lot. So, I'm not as worried about him bringing home the virus, but I do miss him and so do ltc. And by the time he gets home at night I'm exhausted and cranky.
