Thrive to spite them

I am trying to get in touch with mom and telling her she does not need to go to Costco with us. I will buy her whatever she needs and take it to her. But there are potential cases near here and she had a so much upper respiratory problems this winter she needs to self isolate a smucb a spossible

I read that Wal Mart has drastically changed their leave policy and I hope that work here does as well.

I was planning on going to Florida at the end of April but now I'm wavering. It's over a month a way but who knows what happens and I don't want to transfer germs all around various states.

not your mom's socks.

Cash, I'm so sorry for everyone involved, especially you and your sisters and your poor dad.

They're supposed to notify the administrators if they go out of state?? What are the admins supposed to do with that info?? Randomly decide if that makes it ok for them to go to class?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Your guess is as good as mine. The real question is whether any of the students have even been reading the notifications from the admin, or are just going tl;dr.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm about ready to cut the co-worker who keeps checking how soon I'll be finished with the pile of EXTREMELY URGENT printer prep she dumped on me at E.O.B. yesterday and then going back and finding things she wants me to change afterward.

Bitch, put down the review PDFs and step away slowly!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

(I'm avoiding finishing a presentation).

Now the instructions in Israel are not to hold events with more than 2000 participants in them. I really cannot see how the semester will start next week, but still no news from the university. The spring's sci-fi con next month will probably won't take place either.

I also won't go to a coworker's shiva and I feel guilty about it, but shivas right now are a petri dish.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My coworker's training (in our office, maybe 50 people??) just got cancelled! They are strongly discouraging gatherings of more than 25, which just seems wild.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The MA governor just declared a state of emergency. Not sure what that means for schools and government employees yet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mostly it means access to some federal funding, right?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This all-day remote conference was supposed to have a 30-minute break 45 minutes ago.
