Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The MA governor just declared a state of emergency. Not sure what that means for schools and government employees yet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mostly it means access to some federal funding, right?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This all-day remote conference was supposed to have a 30-minute break 45 minutes ago.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Good to hear from you, Nilly, even if it's due to self-quarantine.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

CT did the same today , and it turns out the Rhody already did it yesterday. I only thought to look after you mentioned MA.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

We're getting serious about making sure that every visitor Purells as they walk in the door. I'm being extra-cautious, because I'm the staffer who is interacting with a lot of the public in person.

I'm really worried about what happens if, like, half the kitchen staff ends up quarantined at home. (I wonder how they're staffing that nursing home in Washington where there have been so many deaths.)

It's really hard to make plans for April at this point, including things like lunch outings and/or concerts. It's all going to be one day at a time for a while.
