And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Sock it to me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I watched most of the oscars. They were weird and awkward. And I'm still so glad to be on the west coast so that they (like the super bowl) are over at a decent hour!!

This may be the most compelling reason to move to the west coast.

Our wings are not tired.

Nitrogen ice cream?? Nude sip and paints where the PAINTERS are nude? What is this??

This!

This may be the most compelling reason to move to the west coast.

And This!!

Monday has already been very Mondayish with issues at three of my practices. One I resolved before they knew about it, but I had issues at a surgical center at 6:03 this morning that I didn't know about until my lazy ass got out of bed at 7. Ooops. They were super sweet about it.

Didn't see the Oscars yet because I was in Fort Lauderdale meeting up with cousins and seeing our friend Ricki perform at a massively crowded Italian pub. We sat at a hightop out on the sidewalk so it wasn't so horribly squished and loud, but still insane. Worth being up past my bedtime though.

information libertarian

The Oscars song for the movie Harriet was co-produced by a young man we knew when he was the 8 year old kid living 3 houses down from us in Durham. He graduated from Harvard in December; he's, like, 20.

(Overachiever. But at least he didn't win the Oscar.)

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I was woken a half hour before my alarm this morning by my smoke alarm going off. I've investigated but can't find any evidence that it's anything but a false alarm. But I'm still taking an unscheduled vacation day to stay home and keep an eye on things. I feel like I'm probably overreacting a bit, it's a new alarm, and I have a super sensitive nose and can't smell anything. But I keep thinking that I'd rather overreact and be wrong than assume everything is okay, leave the house for 9 hours and be wrong.

I finished the section of embroidery I was working on at about 4:15 Sunday morning and I have what feels like a permanent dent in the callus on my index finger where the needle rests when I'm using it. As predicted, I have no urge to touch needle and thread again any time soon. But our next performance is St. Patrick's Day weekend, so expect a similar post from me again in about one month's time! Shir, I posted photos of my dress on FB then realized you're not on there! Oops.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Bless his heart, mac went to see his grandparents last night and again this morning as they head out to CA. I know it was hard for him, saying goodbyes hits a lot of hurt for him. I texted him that he makes me proud.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, good job, mac!

Beethoven's Ninth yesterday was wonderful and I was all full of love for the brotherhood of man but today I am at work and everyone can just go to hell. Did you know the text for that, Schiller's poem, was a drinking song? It's "I love you man" raised to high art
