I"m sorry, ND. It's tough, especially with other stresses in your life.

Sending loving thoughts your way, Drew. My dad is gone 37 years and my mom 3 now. Grief comes in waves, and when the adulting is overwhelming it naturally brings parents to mind too. I'm glad you are here with us and I hope being able to share gives you some comfort.
I have royal fucked up. Payment was due yesterday for mac's tuition and I mis-read that. They drop the student from classes if payment is not made on a due date. So now mac is not registered for classes and he has changed his password so I cannot do it for him and he is not answering his phone.
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK
Can you call the school?
The good news is that if Mac's community college is anything like my community college, they are desperate for enrollment. They will probably be thrilled to take his tuition, even if it is a little late.
In your defense, you've got a lot on your plate right now.
I have called the school. They will not take the payment. They will not re-enroll him in the classes via me over the phone.
Sorry to hear about the sadness, ND. It's a heavy weight to carry memories like that. Being in Madison on your mom's birthday has got to be a trigger. I myself have been walking around thinking, holy cow, my Dad is actually dead and I don't get to see him again. It's like I'm still surprised.
I did really enjoy reading about you meeting your birth family. It was like you got to step out of the adult orphans club for a little while. It's good to have a new thing in your life even though it cannot erase the sadness you feel.
Do me a favor and wave at the city of Madison for me. I was born there.
Msbelle will they not do it because it's you instead of him? Or because it's too late? Yikes.
Oh no, msbelle! I feel like there's got to be a way.
