I'm a vision of hotliness, and how weird is that? Mystical comas. You know, if you can stand the horror of a higher power hijacking your mind and body so that it can give birth to itself, I really recommend 'em.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The idea of signing up for a number of cards sounds amazing! I was starting to get nervous about numbers myself.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The extended timing is very culturally apt for us :-). And practically speaking gives people the chance to do cardscard while they're on holiday, rather than in the frenzied lead-up, which is a lively thing to look forward too.

I'm having all kinds of warm feels about this.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, a limited number of cards? Yes, that is a wonderful idea!

Herding cats for fun

I like getting cards by snail mail. I am old school. This is something I could actually manage to do this year. It might even cheer me up.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Wonderful suggestion Kat and yes, I would welcome you taking and running with the card/postcard exchange bonanza. I'll get going on the charity one.

THANK YOU!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

So far, so good...

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I like the thought of both the card exchange and donating to causes. It's low maintenance and high reward.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

do the least you need to do, but we all get sucked into spending way too much time and energy on companies that know we're out the door.

That's the dang truth.

whiskey wouldn't exactly make any of those feelings less

No, it wouldn't.

Same!

I'm thinking maybe I do cards again this year...in which case I'd probably send them to any of you I had addresses for! But I'd be in for a card exchange either way
