Yeah, I figured. Have a Dole Whip for me.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Tomorrow the high is supposed to be 97 and on Friday 95.
Yikes, everyone! We're actually pretty seasonal here -- it was in the 70s yesterday, but only in the 50s today.
Still in hot Florida. Looking at 86F today, so not too bad. My plan was originally to go back to Otter Lake the 4th and stay until the end of the month. Now my sister has to have a medical procedure on the 11th, which I would like to stay for, and DH has basketball try-outs on the 15-17th. So now it looks like I won't get back until the 19th at the earliest, with my SILs and their sons arriving on the 20th. Yikes. Then spend about a week and head back.
It wouldn't be so bad except I left quite a lot of stuff up north thinking I was only here a short time. Like my vitamins, my work phone, favorite cooking devices. Ugh.
That's such a long trip, too, Laura! But October up there must be beautiful.
Anyone have thoughts on the best paper to subscribe to online? I'm waffling between the NY Times and the Washington Post.
The Times pisses me off too much, so I subscribe to the Post. Also I enjoy many of their weekly chats.
That was my thought. I kind of don't want to give money to the Times on principle.
Trying to convince ltc she needed to wear long sleeves and a heavy jacket today after how warm it was yesterday was no fun.
I subscribe to both, and moderate a Times reader's group. Sure, they make me crazy at times, but I still find them a good source. I think my subscription lets me invite people for $1 a week subscription.
I subscribe to WaPo pretty much because of Alexandra Petri
Here in Ohio today's forecast high is 91 and low is 51. I can;t wait until the change!
I subscribe to both the Times and the Post but I read the Times much more. That's at least partly habit; I grew up with the Times.
