Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Well, today was ok, I guess. Mr. S insisted on daddy taking him to school, and apparently took a little while before going into the classroom. He also was still having some issues with spitting and hitting.(They called Gary at 4:30 to tell him that, but didn't say anything to me when I picked him up.)

(Of course it's going to take a little while for him to adjust. How much time the pre-school is willing to give him, I don't know)

What is even happening?

Ah, msbelle, I'm so sorry everything is so difficult.

You too Sheryl.

You're both doing everything you can.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oof, Sheryl, I hope things turn around for you guys and you find the right ways to help Mr. S.

Ugh. Just did the video interview. It was stupid, and my answers were weird. And it was hard to see the counting down (there was a time limit on answers of about 2 minutes) so I don't feel like I really explained well what I was trying to say. Bleh. I mostly probably don't want this job, I think. And the last question was about pay, so we'll see, I may be asking more than they can afford.

There was also a written question about "how do you fit our core values" of like, integrity and dignity and compassion and blah blah blah. WHAT. Such BS.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I expect you present better than you think. OTOH, they may just be cynically looking for people who can fake it well, in which case you're better off without them.

"I have the personal integrity and compassion for other applicants necessary to tell you this interview process is bullshit!"

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Mac has not selected a Transition program, but he has selected a therapist to go see here, it is a condition of him being allowed to sleep in this house.

He is also made a commitment to go get his license renewed tomorrow. He is starting to realize that his friends do not have any urgency about doing the things he NEEDS to do, or helping him in anyway.

I also found out today that he called my parents when they were on their trip and cursed and spewed hate until they hung up, so that is a weight of shame and embarrassment he is carrying around.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It sounds like he's taking steps in a positive direction. I hope for both of you that that trend continues.
