Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

Herding cats for fun

Better this kick in the butt at 18 than having a rude and surly man child of 30 refusing to speak to you, leave your house or stop playing video games. This is the hard part of parenting your brat.

((Msbelle)) stay strong.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a couple of friends I always want to introduce to people with tough teenagers -- they were a hot mess through their teens and twenties, but eventually got it together and are responsible adults! (One maybe never found a career, but did find a wife with a good job! And he's a great dad, so it all works out.)

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

msbelle - you are one of the most patient people I know. You are doing what is right for mac and yourself. And it's hard, and it's heartbreaking. Tons of ~ma.

Coding and Sleeping

Oh, msbelle, that sounds so hard. I think you're doing the right thing though.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Well, today was ok, I guess. Mr. S insisted on daddy taking him to school, and apparently took a little while before going into the classroom. He also was still having some issues with spitting and hitting.(They called Gary at 4:30 to tell him that, but didn't say anything to me when I picked him up.)

(Of course it's going to take a little while for him to adjust. How much time the pre-school is willing to give him, I don't know)

What is even happening?

Ah, msbelle, I'm so sorry everything is so difficult.

You too Sheryl.

You're both doing everything you can.

Oof, Sheryl, I hope things turn around for you guys and you find the right ways to help Mr. S.

Ugh. Just did the video interview. It was stupid, and my answers were weird. And it was hard to see the counting down (there was a time limit on answers of about 2 minutes) so I don't feel like I really explained well what I was trying to say. Bleh. I mostly probably don't want this job, I think. And the last question was about pay, so we'll see, I may be asking more than they can afford.

There was also a written question about "how do you fit our core values" of like, integrity and dignity and compassion and blah blah blah. WHAT. Such BS.
