I do however have a huge amount of confidence in the systems that have done a wonderful job of finding all these devices BEFORE they exploded. I expect they will find the perpetrator(s) very quickly. The FBI and other parties actually do a good job.
Yeah, realistically, I know that school is probably not a target, all other bombs have been direct attacks on specific targets themselves.

I feel like the number of people who had packages sent to them grew really quickly since the initial report yesterday. It is freaking scary.
And yes, wrong timeline. Or darkest. Whichever.
It's hard to believe this is our reality.
Sometimes I do think back to election day 2016 and wonder if we got Anya'd. I never imagined there would be such an enormous shift in policy, mood, and everything else practically overnight.
And a package sent to Robert De Niro's ... restaurant, I believe.

Yeah, I was listening to 1A on NPR earlier, and they kept saying things like "This situation may very well change before the end of this broadcast." When they said it the first time, I thought, well, that's just CYA in journalism. But they said it 3 times in the first 15 minutes, which made me think that they had information that they couldn't report yet because it wasn't verified by a credible source.

I hated Bush and Cheney. Loathed. But the GOP in Congress wasn't this openly evil back then, right? And ordinary citizens weren't this openly bigoted/fascist/violent, right?
This really does feel like the wrong timeline.
It seems as though people who felt constrained to keep their nastiness out of sight now feel free to bring it out in the open. There was a news report about a woman on a plane who was being groped by the main in the seat behind her ... he said that Trump had said it was OK to grope women. JFC.
