Oh Pix that sounds awesome. I hope it's fun and rewarding.
Jesse pedicure sounds nice and Porchfest looks so fun. Music outside is always great.
So far I have pushed slightly on the shower thing but they move her into a private room today and she can just shower there all she wants.
Also Mom walked around the halls, got to go outside, and ate all her breakfast with her left hand. There is even slight talk that she may not need in patient physical therapy. I don't know but it's good news they are even suggesting it
I'm taking the kids to a "River Day" festival at a local yacht club.
(Someday I'll look back and wonder when exactly did I become the embodiment of every Westchester mom cliché and you guys will point me to that sentence.)
I am at the airport to fly home from Baltimore. Then I pick up the car and go get 3 dogs and then go home.
Going to get my yeti hair cut, then Trader Joe's and Staples. Maybe mow the lawn later. It is a nonstop party here.
I went to the gym this morning, and now I'm thinking of treating myself to sushi at a new to me place. Afterward it'll be shopping, finishing up the week's laundry, and lazing about.
I got bids on new shades yesterday and went to a friend's house for a birthday dinner, where we geeked out about tv, movies, and video games. Today I'm gonna run the dog (RSN) and then go to the beach for my niece's 30th-birthday celebration.
I can't believe she's 30, WTF.
Sadly, it's supposed to be cool and overcast, so maybe not a great beach day, but the dogs will have fun.
Bye, msbelle, come back soon! We slept at her house last night. Naturally, there was champagne & IKEA. And the weather was niceish for her.
Never mind. I missed Sophia's post with the original link.
I've folded my laundry and vacuumed half the apartment. I still have to vacuum the other half, dust, do the dishes, clean the bathroom, and pack.
This is much harder than you would imagine, since it's a gorgeous day outside. I just have to keep reminding myself how much I hate coming home after a trip to a messy apartment.
I went to the first dog obedience lesson this morning. Just owner, no dogs. The teacher is fine with me using a harness which was a relief because dobie's necks are bigger than their heads so collars just slip off. He should do well because the instructor was talking about far worse behavioral issues than I have to deal with!
Leaves are changing and it is cold. Boo. It is just starting, but I am not ready for fall. I did get a couple more space heaters.
