What is even happening?

Never mind. I missed Sophia's post with the original link.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I've folded my laundry and vacuumed half the apartment. I still have to vacuum the other half, dust, do the dishes, clean the bathroom, and pack.

This is much harder than you would imagine, since it's a gorgeous day outside. I just have to keep reminding myself how much I hate coming home after a trip to a messy apartment.

Our wings are not tired.

I went to the first dog obedience lesson this morning. Just owner, no dogs. The teacher is fine with me using a harness which was a relief because dobie's necks are bigger than their heads so collars just slip off. He should do well because the instructor was talking about far worse behavioral issues than I have to deal with!

Leaves are changing and it is cold. Boo. It is just starting, but I am not ready for fall. I did get a couple more space heaters.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Had an appointment with a nutritionist for Mr. S. It was originally supposed to be about his weight, but it became about his ADHD. Got a list of foods that are good for his development, some of which we already give him. I guess the meds are taking a while to take effect, since he's not acting any different.

Because books.

Meds usually take a little while to work; ask your pharmacist what to expect if the doctor doesn't know. Good luck with them, Sheryl!

It is a beautiful morning here, too. I walked into town, stopped at both bakeries (oops), the farmer's market, and the library, where I had three books to pick up. And now I'm heading out to find pots to replant my succulents in, since they have overgrown the original container, and actually seem to be thriving.

Thrive to spite them

All of these sound like great plans. Even the boring, get the onerous tasks .

Sheryl I know some people have seen improvement when they have change their diets.

I failed at getting mom a shower but some I that was her fault. Someone came by and offered her a sponge bath but she said no because she was getting a room off ICU. That was around 1. She still hasn't gotten the room. I told her next time they offer any help getting clean take it. She can always take a shower as well.

I'm struggling because I don't do well with abrupt changes in plans and things keep changing. I can't try and anticipate what will happen because who knows.

I'll be at work most of the day and a good portion of the night getting Universal Studios ready to scare the crap out of people.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm struggling because I don't do well with abrupt changes in plans and things keep changing. I can't try and anticipate what will happen because who knows.

Hospitals are the worst for that. The utter and absolute worst.

Thrive to spite them

Mom finally has a room and a shower. I am back at her house because she is fine and napping a lot and bored. She sent me home to watch football. And I need to do laundry.

Mom is improving much faster than expected so that is one problem I don't really mind. She has been working on the movements they have been testing and doing everything she can herself.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

People getting things done! You're all making me tired. I must nap. On my fainting couch, while being fanned by pretty young people. In my dreams.

As for humor, there's always I Haz a Sweet Potato. I could try to find the alien in the Torchwood tower, but that ship has probably sailed.
