But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am at the airport to fly home from Baltimore. Then I pick up the car and go get 3 dogs and then go home.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Going to get my yeti hair cut, then Trader Joe's and Staples. Maybe mow the lawn later. It is a nonstop party here.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I went to the gym this morning, and now I'm thinking of treating myself to sushi at a new to me place. Afterward it'll be shopping, finishing up the week's laundry, and lazing about.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I got bids on new shades yesterday and went to a friend's house for a birthday dinner, where we geeked out about tv, movies, and video games. Today I'm gonna run the dog (RSN) and then go to the beach for my niece's 30th-birthday celebration.

I can't believe she's 30, WTF.

Sadly, it's supposed to be cool and overcast, so maybe not a great beach day, but the dogs will have fun.

Bye, msbelle, come back soon! We slept at her house last night. Naturally, there was champagne & IKEA. And the weather was niceish for her.

What is even happening?

Never mind. I missed Sophia's post with the original link.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I've folded my laundry and vacuumed half the apartment. I still have to vacuum the other half, dust, do the dishes, clean the bathroom, and pack.

This is much harder than you would imagine, since it's a gorgeous day outside. I just have to keep reminding myself how much I hate coming home after a trip to a messy apartment.

Our wings are not tired.

I went to the first dog obedience lesson this morning. Just owner, no dogs. The teacher is fine with me using a harness which was a relief because dobie's necks are bigger than their heads so collars just slip off. He should do well because the instructor was talking about far worse behavioral issues than I have to deal with!

Leaves are changing and it is cold. Boo. It is just starting, but I am not ready for fall. I did get a couple more space heaters.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Had an appointment with a nutritionist for Mr. S. It was originally supposed to be about his weight, but it became about his ADHD. Got a list of foods that are good for his development, some of which we already give him. I guess the meds are taking a while to take effect, since he's not acting any different.

Because books.

Meds usually take a little while to work; ask your pharmacist what to expect if the doctor doesn't know. Good luck with them, Sheryl!

It is a beautiful morning here, too. I walked into town, stopped at both bakeries (oops), the farmer's market, and the library, where I had three books to pick up. And now I'm heading out to find pots to replant my succulents in, since they have overgrown the original container, and actually seem to be thriving.
