Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Working from home today since I did not on Wed. Not really planned, but current work is pretty loosey goosey, so might as well take advantage while I can. I have boss approval to work from home 1 day a week, so I'm covered.

I've got both laptops open and am going to crank out work and personal stuff ALL DAY LONG. TCB Friday.

Write an email (forget to hit send) - start other tasks - get angry no one is responding - do other tasks - get angrier that there is still no response - go to send angry follow up email to group - see that you never sent the first email - begin flogging self.

Our wings are not tired.

Ha, I wish I could say I have never done that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Do not flog self! (advice for all)

Edit: so is there no way to make a less-than carat show up here? I tried as many as four.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

The Outside Lands music festival is taking place this weekend not far from my apartment, so I will be able to hear it all weekend, whether I want to or not. I've always been in Chicago for VividCon the same weekend as Outside Lands, but VividCon is no more. I'm planning to hole up and not spend much time out and about in my neighborhood while it's overrun with festival goers, so I guess I should knock off some things on my To Do lists.

OR I could just sit around and read all the library hold books that just came in and eat Jaffa cakes. I guess we'll see.
