You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

We are in the third day of very strong winds and rain. It looks like that is going to be the norm for a while. I think today is the worst of it then it goes to like 50% chance for the next week or so. After several months of almost no rain it is pretty gloomy. I miss my balcony!!

I hope it is done by the 29th. That is when the Ft. Lauderdale air show is scheduled, and that is a very big deal here. They even restrict residents in the condo to 5 guests and up the parking fee for guests. They tell me it is madness with hundreds of thousands on the beach. I'm trying to get my sisters to come over, even volunteered to drive over and fetch them the day before and keep them over the weekend. The guest limitation is for beach access, so we are fine here as I don't need to walk over into the crowds anyway. Brendon's siblings will use our guest passes, while his mom will stay on the balcony with me and my sisters. Well, I am really hoping my sisters will come. They have not responded to my proposed schedule. I'm preparing myself for yet another disappointment. Hoping that the more adventuresome one is trying to talk the other into it.

eta: Wasn't actually planning to put this is Bitches, but since I am bitching about my family never coming to see me it works. It has been an issue for a very long time.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

ugh yeah I don't know about your family but "hundreds of thousands on the beach" makes me want to run away screaming

Oh, I have no intention of going over to the beach. We'll be able to see the airshow just fine from my balcony. My sisters-in-law, nephews, and the basketball kids will be all over the beach scene though.

Thrive to spite them

Wrll my period finally showed up. At the end of one of our fishing trips. Luckily it was a slow start. Between that and M falling it put a damper on one of the benefits of having a house to ourselves.

At least we got to have the place super cold so we could be as snuggly a we like without getting overheated. (We both have octopus kind if sleepers) We really only had to leave the windows open a couple of nights for it to get really cold.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Snuggly is good.

Except it's decided not to be regular at all and from the PMS symptoms I'm dealing with it's either going to start very soon or not until we are in Florida and that will suck

My period always shows up for the Daytona 500 when I am there. Super frustrating as a race weekend is not the funnest place to be bleeding and having accompanying digestive issues. It's also where I started (and first suspected) perimenopause in 2011. My period, apparently a huge race fan. After menopause, I should go back out of freaking spite.

If Scooby Doo taught me anything, it's that the only thing to fear is real-estate developers.Lisa Simpson

It's gonna be a hundred degrees here, today, Karl. I...think not. Not enough sunscreen on earth. But I think there's going to be one last reprieve, temperature-wise, in a week or so. I think I could live that much of a lie(Well, in addition to the other one that anyone that's not here cares one whit for my preferences in...outdoor wooing,which history suggests is something of a polite fiction on someone's part.{cleans imaginary glasses}
