I've let my hair go to its natural color, which turns out to be a mix of silvery white, gray and some of the original dark brown. It's also - without being dyed - grown in thicker and curlier. I kind of like it. And I was SO tired of trying to maintain the auburn (local tap water is highly chlorinated, which made the color fade quickly).
'Safe'
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Toddson - all that! Plus, as it starts to grow out, the dark brown roots will hopefully give it a bit of an ombre effect. I hope.
Oh dear, Todd. I hope a few quiet days eases the pain. Or ya know, watching eye candy.
Todd, feel better.
I enjoyed the eye candy (several times, just to MAKE SURE). It does strike me as ironic that Australia doesn't have white Christmas ... for them, December is the middle of summer.
ltc just now doing a workbook with me Me: Draw a picture of a hat. ltc: I want to draw a crown. Me: Draw a picture of a car. ltc: okay, I’ll draw a Queen mobile. One of us or what?
Oh no, Toddson! I hope it lets up soon.
Back is improving; I just pushed my luck. Luckily, there's a four-day weekend coming, so I can take my time ... although I MUST do laundry at some point. I'm grateful for elevators and my little grocery cart.
Toddson, ow! Backs are the worst.
I’m toying with the idea of going full on silvery gray.
Do it! Do it for me! My stylist has said "It will fry your hair even if we marinade your head in Olaplex throughout the process", so I have to take the slow road. But it would be beautiful on you!
I've toyed with the idea of adding colored (pink? blue?) streaks to my hair. The problem is, that white hair (mine, at least) tends to hold the color until it grows out. Since virtually no one sees me, it's less of an issue ... I just don't want to startle myself when looking in the mirror.
