Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Herding cats for fun

Yikes, nothing worse than an awful neighbor. Loud angry voices and thin walled small apartments would freak me right out. How awful, sorry this is happening.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I only have the gabapentin for at night, was ND on it more often? What did they end up doing for it?

He would be able to answer that better — I've let him know to check in when he can. He started only at night and ramped up to multiple times a day.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Gabapentin is the bomb for nerve pain for a lot of humans and dogs. It doesn't help my neck because that is vertebrae moving towards my left ear and getting locked out of place. But for my lower back and hip, it helps a lot. It can cause fatigue but that seems to be something the patient either ramps up dosage, frequency or it just normalizes pretty quickly.

sj, I'm glad you found that doctor.

quester, I'm sorry about the neighbor. I guess that staying alert is the only thing you can do now?

Quester, as someone with a history of awful neighbors, I’m so sorry you have to deal with that.

Thanks, Pix. Right now the drowsiness of the Gabapentin is the best part of it because I can sleep! I woke up a little early today, but I slept through the night before that.

The mornings are the worst part right now because I haven’t medicated in eight hours so the pain is bad. Hopefully TCG will wake up soon and there will be tea. I’m so grateful right now to be married to a man who capable of cooking all the meals and doing laundry etc. I feel bad that he is missing so much work driving ltc back and forth to school and me to appointments, but he hasn’t complained. So many of my meatspace friends and relatives married men who don’t help with much of anything.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry, quester. Very unnerving for sure.

TCG is indeed a keeper. I can't imagine what I would have done without a helpful partner DH when raising the boys.

So many people were in aww when he would change her diapers etc when ltc was a baby, and he would get so mad because he’s the dad, of course he’s changing diapers.

Orthopedic appointment went okay. It’s definitely not a shoulder issue. It’s very likely a nerve issue stemming from my neck. So I have to get the mri and then see a different orthopedic and also get another test with pins and electric currents that I can’t get until I’m in pain for at least 4 weeks. He does think that PT will help and I’ll start to get better on my own if I continue with what I’m currently doing.

Not a lot of progress, but another step. Have you improved enough to be able to drive to PT?

No I can’t drive at all or walk with my crutches. My arm won’t currently move that way. Luckily I was able to switch pt to a Saturday. So, it won’t involve more pto for TCG.
