Dawn: I feel safe with you. Spike: Take that back!

'First Date'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, hooray. And I've been on Celexa + Wellbutrin XR for several years.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

sj, I'm glad your new doctor is great! Did she offer any further pain meds, especially since you couldn't sleep last night because of the pain?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, yes. Gabapentin at bedtime.

Good! I know several people who take gabapentin for pain, and it's pretty helpful. I hope it lets you get some sleep tonight!

Fingers crossed.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

sj, that's great to hear! A sympathetic doctor can make a huge difference. I took Wellbutrin for years, it more for me than any other antidepressant, probably because it helped my (then undiagnosed) ADHD. I hope the new meds help you!

Thanks, Zen. That’s encouraging to hear.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Welbutrin did good stuff for me back when I needed its help to get over severe mood and behavior changes following a massively adverse reaction to prednisone. And yes, it is useful for ADHD.

The ADHD is one of the reasons my doctor chose it.

Wellbutrin is great for me, though after a couple years I had to up the dose—we tried adding something else but it made me exhausted, gain wait, and killed my libido, so Wellbutrin alone is getting me through.
