Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I got my hair cut real short last week and I'm so happy. Real short and fluffy in the back, longer on top so the curls fall onto my forehead (and hide the fivehead).

Woo hoo!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Ideally, waist-length hair for me, but I've been trimming the ends pretty often, so it's currently mid-breast length.

Our wings are not tired.

Mine was quite long before I came north as I hadn't cut it for about 5 years. I had my SIL cut it to shoulder blade length. I like to be able to twist it up and it makes me feel girly to have long hair.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

sigh ... I've given up all hope of becoming a vampire so, being a mere mortal, I keep my hair short

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

M's been helping me keep the undercut short, but the fall on top is getting all shaggy and shapeless. I'm a big fan of my barber (and he's been great about following protocol), but I'm still not comfortable going to him yet. I'm thisclose to trying to cut it myself.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Mine is a bit longer than shoulder length. I will not cut it shorter, no matter how ancient I get. With my nose, short hair makes me look like a baby parrot.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Same. I've gotten pretty good at maintaining the undercut with clippers but the length is becoming increasingly problematic. Especially since I've started swimming again this past month (oh hi reserved lap lanes I love you) - the chlorine and increased washing are not friends to my poor bleached & dyed ends.

I had a thought - if becoming a vampire means that your hair will remain that length for eternity, what happens if you've colored your hair? will it remain that color? or will you have to re-dye your hair periodically?
