Oh, God. Oh, God. My hair. My hair! The government gave me bad hair!

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm going to have to decide whether to go back and visit my dad on his birthday next weekend. He's still healing, I have to discuss a lot of stuff with my sisters and him about his future care. Gah.

I don't think I'll cancel unless I'm exposed or showing symptoms. I can essentially make the drive my my driveway to his without stopping anywhere.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I really want to ask my dad to take the next 2 weeks off work. He works in a freaking Kroger, where a bazillion people come in and out, so it's a petri dish. He's 78 years old and has heart disease and diabetes. He should NOT be working right now.

t edit He doesn't need to work, financially, although he likes the extra money. He's just like a border collie who needs something to keep him from being bored as a retired dude. But a 2-week break wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for him.

Teppy, your dad definitely needs to take a little vacation.

Punishingly Intricate

You can ask him, Steph, knowing he might say no.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Teppy, your dad definitely needs to take a little vacation.

I concur. He should stay home for a couple weeks.

COVID-19 is really starting to explode in Spain, Germany and France.

The death count in Spain has tripled in a couple days.

At least they have the example in Italy to let them shut everything down now.

Thrive to spite them

On top of everything else I am pretty sure I have a UTi or it's the interistial cystis flaring up or both.

Based on the at home test I have it's a UTI and a pretty bad feeling one. I do have antibiotics from when I should have been taking a low dose daily. And based on looking at my pharmacy records (yay the Internet) I should have enough for what they would prescribe me.

I can't really afford to go to the doctor anyway so I'm doing this.

At least I'm not at work and miserable.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Hi.

Not anywhere near the biggest issue in the grand scheme of things, but I was going to have dinner tonight with a guy that I think I really like, and we mutually decided that it would be better to postpone it until sometime when we're not supposed to be social distancing. Aside from contagion, we're both really too stressed out to start anything new at the moment. Still, disappointed. I was looking forward to this.

Hopefully the wait lets you get to know each other better. Sucks to have this Big Thing just carve away plans.

On top of everything else I am pretty sure I have a UTi

Painful twinsies. But I had a course of the right dose of amoxi that my prior PA gave me for an ear that looked "weird" according to him. I had drops at home and asked why systemic when I could treat the exact site effectively. He didn't really answer and faxed the script anyway. Thanks for not listening, PA. You were an ass but my ladyparts are thanking you. In a not sex way. Ew.

Always Anti-fascist!

TFW you want to smack the president but then you'd have to touch him and that's gross. And I tried to laugh this off, but I am a little offended about being like "the Drunk Chick" while phonebanking this week.

Thrive to spite them

So I got anti anxiety meds which is good. I will take one tonight to help me sleep and see how it goes.

I'm going to need it because matthew's mom's anxiety is ramping up. She keeps doing things like turning on her tv in her room, going into the living room where Matthew is playing Xbox and then she'll call someone and have a conversation on speaker phone . Which drives him up the wall and then he gets mad and then they get mad.

McMasters ordered a limit to how many people can be in a store based on sq footage as well as a stay at home order (except you can go for a walk or visit your family or go to the store or go get take out food so I guess people will just keep doing what htey are doing...I don't know). So now she's worried about if we will be able to get groceries and toilet paper, which actually is going to be an issue at some point although I think we are still good for a couple weeks. But she wants to go out everyday for things and we don't need to go out at all.

On top of everything, think my video player is freaking out. Sigh.
