Right, there comes a point where you have to either move on, or just buy yourself a Klingon costume and go with it.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I spent midday of the day in training in an un-air conditioned room with about 200 people. When wet called maintenance at first he brought 1 box fan. Then he brought an industrial fan which helped but was SO loud.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

No AC bad! Do you have enough fans to keep things cooled down to bearable?

Yeah, I was able to keep it bearable. The guy came and fixed it this afternoon.

My brain has chosen tonight to put the greatest hits of "This is why you'll die miserable and alone" on repeat. Shut up, brain.

Body image demons are going into overdrive. (I know what triggered it -- something posted on Facebook that reminded me of high school.) Now I'm doing some sit-ups, to try to make my body less disgusting.

Thrive to spite them

Sorry you are getting hit with body image demons.

I learned some new things tonight about my medical history. I've finally asked about details about my surgery. Dad mentioned the worst part for him was seeing all the tubes in my stomach post surgery.

This is the first time I've heard of those. They weren't in my stomach exactly. Mom disagreed with the number and that they were all together. There were drainage tubes for the kidneys and incidion and catheter. Dad thinks there were 5 and that thy were in for a week. Mom said I was only in the hospital a few days.

I was also able to navigate around Dad's hang up about weight. He said I got chunky because they had me drink lots of cranberry juice and he worried about my weight.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Body Image Demons, I mock you! You are pathetic and sad. I dare you to come at me - I will gnash your bones in my teeth and drink your blood in a cocktail of chocolate sauce.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Ask, When I had my splenectomy, I also had drainage tubes. It was not uncomfortable, but it was just...weird and disconcerting.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

A trivial thing, but I really wish I could dye my hair. The gray streak has gotten bigger than I'm happy with. Wonder if I could manage it hanging over the sink standing on one foot.

That sounds neither safe nor comfortable.

ETA: What about backing a chair up to the sink and leaning backward?
