I went out for a while -- drove around the city a bit, then went to a bookstore for a while. Now I'm back home. And in my bedroom, because I'm still scared to go near the living room furniture where I saw it.

I left messages with two different exterminators yesterday and the night before. One of them called back at 8 this morning, and the guy there talked to me, and I explained the issue, and he took my information and said that someone else would be calling me from their scheduling department. It's now almost 3, and nobody has called.
Also, after that phone call, I fell back asleep, and then woke up with a really bad stomach bug. So, this week just sucks.
I haven't seen or heard any more sign of the mouse, though. Though I have been avoiding the area where I first saw it.
I wish I could get a cat. But I'm allergic.

The exterminator is coming on Tuesday. And there are some mouse droppings by the couch that weren't there before, so it definitely has not gone away. So, guess I'm avoiding the living room until Tuesday.
