Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

He does, Fred. And she knows that. They're 17 months apart, and she was just one grade ahead of him in school, so they have a different perspective on each other's lives than we (as parents) have.

That's so sweet, Cindy! My friends' 13-year old girl came out to them as bi this year. Her twin brother found a utilikilt with rainbow colored inserts and wore it in her honor to the Pride Parade.(Remember those twins?! So grown now!)

Oh my beautiful twins! That's a great story Lisa.

I'm grateful she felt good coming out to us and that she's coming out in a time where she feels free to be herself.

I also feel grateful I could share it here, where this moment would be celebrated.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

How are the genealogy studies going, Hil? Have you been surprised by processes or resources previously unknown?

It's been going really well! Very writing-intensive. We're learning a lot of ways to justify, "OK, here's all this documentation that I found, and here's why I'm confident of these conclusions based on the documentation." Also learning about a lot of earlier American resources that I hadn't known about before -- things like Revolutionary War or Civil War pension records, and Freedmen's Bureau records for researching black ancestors.

Our wings are not tired.

It really sounds incredibly interesting. My brief attempts in the field were rather overwhelming. I can see where there is a need for expert help.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Hive Mind Help: I'm hunting for a comic that I know I saw on Facebook (and reposted to my own feed if I'm not mistaken), but am having a hard time tracking down. I don't think I've seen anything else from the same artist, so it's not a series I'm familiar with, if it is a series.

B&W, not terribly elaborate art (but more than XKCD-style). The one I'm looking for is two non-gender-specific characters, and says (paraphrased),

A: I like you as more than just friends.

B: Thank you for the information, allow me to think about it and respond.

A: As I am not an asshole, I understand that you are not obligated to reciprocate.

B: As I am also not an asshole, I will not allow this information that you have shared to make our friendship awkward.

Or that general intent. It's proving tricky to google. I may or may not be inspired to have a chat with my current crush in the near future and I feel the need to see that comic for inspiration/nerve-building.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Never mind, wishing to the Buffistas finally made it appear on my google search!

Gah. I'm awake because my ankle is hurting, and out of the corner of my eye, I just saw something run across the floor from under my couch to under my chair. I don't know what it was. I'm hoping a bug of some sort. I'm extremely phobic of the other possibility.
