Well, I checked my credit report. That "delinquent account" was one car payment that was 30 days late in 2015. It asked me if I wanted to dispute it, but I honestly have no idea whether it was actually late or not -- it was right around the time that I was moving to Ohio, so I was transferring money and addresses and a million other things around, and it very well could have been late. Oh well.

If you need to worry about your credit before it drops off your history, you might contact the company and ask them to pull it off, since you've been such a good customer, etc, etc. For a one-off, they may be willing
