Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I just really want to know if "showing your ass in public" is a euphemism.
(Cross posted from FB, with some alterations and additions because brevity is beyond me:)
It isn't an ongoing discussion afaic - I'm not interested in any further dealings with Trudy beyond this because I have ABSOLUTELY lost respect for and interest in her.
I regret the discomfort other people feel about this, but I have just experienced the online equivalent of someone coming to your home, elbowing into a conversation you're having with a guest, slapping them in the face, taking a massive shit on the rug then wrecking the CCTV footage and running away yelling "wow, Fay, you really shouldn't have shat on the rug!"
While I appreciate that y'all don't want to hear about my bruised guest or shitty rug, and that having said rug waved around in your own nice congenial living room makes the room stink, and that without the CCTV footage I cannot present a decent case in a court of law, at THIS point I'm pretty much just interested in tarnishing the guest-slapping rug-shitter's name because I am still reeling and my rug is covered in her shit.
I am not asking anyone else to clean the rug, or to set up a jury to decide where the shit came from, or whether her shit actually stinks. I'm just interested in making that stink cling to her since she clearly thinks she got away scot free.
Whether or not you trust her around your own rugs and guests in the future, or conclude I shat on the rug myself, will be your own call.
I return you to your previously scheduled programming, with apologies for the stink.
I really really really really really would prefer that fights that start in other neighborhoods not be brought home.
I agree with JZ. I am not comfortable with this being brought in here.
As someone with a shit covered rug from the same houseguest from many years ago I completely understand Fay.
I get the bad history and I saw some of the recent kerfuffle as it happened on FB and I understand the anger; I just don't feel comfortable with this exact way of dealing with it (maybe the group page over on FB is a better place to hash it out, or Bureaucracy?).
I think "Lebowski" is awesome. Didn't really follow that convo on FB, not sure it belongs here either...

The Big Lebowski, thumbs up or thumbs down?
I had read that it's either a love it or hate it film, and I finally got around to seeing it about a month ago, and it's one I think I could see again (which is rare for me). I loved it but Greg didn't. I think he found it kind of boring and incomprehensible.
I think I must have been sitting next to Greg. Actually, I just don't really remember much of it. I watched it, because it was name-checked in Veronica Mars.
I remember Jeff Daniels floating (???) and pee on a rug. There was bowling. The dude abides. That's about it.
I think dh loved it.
