I've never heard that phrase before, but if there isn't a Tipping, China, I'm going lean on "sounds racist and even if it's not there's a better way to say whatever it is you're trying to get across"
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yeah, sure it could be worse, but if you have to stop and think about it, probably best not to say it.

This is my theory.
Think twice, speak once?

What is the difference between jealousy and envy? There is an adorable young couple here, and they make me both happy and sad. Is jealousy wanting something specific someone else has and envy wishing you had something like it?
I would call that envy. And perfectly understandable.
Connie I was just wondering that the other day! Like I have a recent ex who is now in a v happy relationship. And I'm happy for her—she's great and deserves some awesome. And I don't want to be dating her. But it still hurts somehow.
As I understand it, envy is wanting something that someone else has, but in a deeper, darker sense than wistfulness and wishing. Jealousy proper is possessiveness about something you have (or think you ought to have). Jealousy is often used in place of envy, in much the same way that literally is used in place of metaphorically.
Lisah! Thanks for that link. I'll share it with my Aidaboo.
